The printer doesn't have your cards yet. But your baby is here. And everyone is waiting.
This is the moment many parents forward a photo of the card design on WhatsApp — quick, but a little rough around the edges. There's a calmer way.
Digital and printed: you don't have to choose
For most parents, digital and printed are complementary, not competing.
The printed card is the keepsake. The beautiful piece of paper people put on the fridge, tuck into an album, or find again years later. The digital card is the news: something you can share on the day of the birth itself, while the printed cards are still being made.
Together they give you the best of both.
Step by step: sharing your card digitally
1. Upload your card design
Already have a design from your printer or a graphic designer? Upload the image. You don't need to change anything — the design stays completely your own.
2. Create a private link
You get a personal link to share with whoever you choose. Only people with the link can view your card. No public page, no search results.
3. Share via WhatsApp, text, or email
Copy the link and send it via whichever channel you prefer. A WhatsApp group works well: everyone sees the news at the same time, at their own pace, without you having to explain it twenty times over.
4. Let people leave their address right there
On the same page, recipients can fill in their postal address for the physical card. The digital news and the practical address collection happen at the same time.
What about people without a smartphone?
Not everyone in your circle is equally digital. For them: just send the physical card the old-fashioned way. Digital and physical don't exclude each other. One or two exceptions are normal and take no extra effort.
The list you build now stays useful
The addresses people leave via the link stay ready for the next occasion. Thank you card after the birth. Christening invitation. First birthday. You never need to ask anyone for their address again.
Built once. Useful for years.
